You want to get better so badly, but no one gives you answers. Your life is still on pause.

Here is what you've been told to do when trying to heal from your concussion:

❌ Don’t make this concussion the main thing in your life, don’t focus on it all the time.
❌ Talk to a psychologist that will help. And don't stay at home all the time, that's not helpful for your mood.
❌ Go home and rest as much as possible. You will be better in a few weeks.
❌ “You need to focus on acceptance. Accept that this is your reality and learn to live with it.
❌ We are all getting older, try not to make that a big deal.
❌ Do you have anxiety? Do some yoga and it's gone!
❌ If only I had that much time off work, that would be amazing!
You're not alone.

"I was constantly torn between "I can't let this concussion ruin my life" and "I have to listen to my body and rest"
Watch this 2-minute video to see how I transformed from feeling completely "lost" to now helping others reduce their symptoms too.
Who
I sustained a concussion in 2017 and am now 90% recovered. Since then, I have taught over 2,000 concussion survivors how to regain motivation in their recovery and reduce symptoms, regardless of where they are in their journey.

I created the Concussion Boost Program and other courses, and for the past four years, I’ve been helping other concussion survivors in their recovery.
I am the host of my own podcast, The Concussion Community's podcast (over 150 episodes), where I share a lot of tips about recovery, treatments, my own struggles, emotions, and mindset.
I’m Dutch and currently live in Antwerp, Belgium. Before this, I lived in Amsterdam.

Unique Neck Exercises
One of my game-changers is this course by concussion expert Rob Wallis.
It teaches the 4 neck exercises that helped me ( and 450+ others) improve blood flow to the brain and reduce symptoms, often within weeks. Even without neck pain, many symptoms can still come from the neck.

✔️ to reduce brain fog
✔️ increase energy & improve sleep
✔️ get out of fight-or-flight mode
✔️ return to exercise (finally!)
✔️ process stimuli more easily

Frequently Asked Questions

How long did it take for you to start feeling better?
In the first two years after my accident, I tried everything to get better. Yet I barely felt any progress (about 10%). I was very sad, and my life was completely on pause.
In 2019, I went to a concussion clinic in the U.S., where I learned about two scientifically validated methods that had already helped many people with a concussion. Because I want more people to have access to these methods, I created a free masterclass so you can start applying them from home.
You can sign up for it here for free.
What has actually helped you the most in your recovery?
Because I get this question so often, I’ve written a free ebook for everyone, where I mention the 7 things that helped me the most. You can download it for free: Click here.
How do you describe to others what a concussion feels like?
It can sometimes be impossible to describe what it feels like to deal with concussion symptoms. Still, I’ve tried to explain it in this 7-minute podcast: Click here. Do you recognize yourself in it?
Are you fully recovered now?
Right now, I feel I am about 90% recovered. The symptom I still have is that I feel overstimulated more quickly than before, and sometimes screen time still bothers me. I am hopeful that I will reach 100% recovery since I am still making progress.
